By car:

  • Highway A4, exit at Venezia Mestre. Park your car in Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto or Mestre.

From the Train Station Venezia Santa Lucia:
  • Take the Vaporetto (waterbus) Line 1 or Line 2. Get off at Rialto or San Marco Vallaresso.

From the Venice Airport “Marco Polo” :
  • Transfer by Airport water shuttlebus “Alilaguna”, to the San Marco or Rialto stops. Time: about 1 hour. Approximate Cost: € 12.00 per person , luggage included.
  • Transfer by private water taxi to the “ex Testolini” dock about 50 meters from the hotel. Time: approximately 30 minutes. Approximate cost €100.00 per 2 persons, luggage included.
  • Transfer by bus ATVO to Venezia Piazzale Roma. Time: approximately 20 minutes. Approximate cost: €5.00 per person including luggage. From Piazzale Roma take the Vaporetto (waterbus) line 1 or line 2 and get off at Rialto or San Marco Vallaresso.

From the Treviso Airport “San Giuseppe”:
  • Transfer by bus ATVO from the Treviso airport to Venice Piazzale Roma. From Piazzale Roma take the Vaporetto (waterbus) line 1 or line 2 and get off at Rialto or San Marco Vallaresso.

From the Port:
  • Transfer from the Maritime Station of the Port of Venice by Vaporetto (waterbus) line 52 or line 2 and get off at San Zaccaria or San Marco Vallaresso. Or take the “Alilaguna” water shuttlebus to San Marco.

From the Bus Terminal – Parking lot of Venice Piazzale Roma:
  • Take the Vaporetto (waterbus) line 1 or line 2 and get off at Rialto or San Marco Vallaresso.

From Venice Tronchetto Parking Lot:
  • Take Vaporetto (waterbus) line 2 and get off at Rialto or San Zaccaria.

Tickets for the Vaporetto (waterbuses) can be bought at the waterbus stops at Piazzale Roma, Rialto and at Piazza San Marco.
The cost for a one-way ride is € 6.50 per person.

If you are planning to make frequent use of the public transportation system, you may want to buy the unlimited pass for the city center and the islands. You may choose between 12-24-48-72 hour passes.
